The eZdia U monthly newsletter is designed to connect with the eZdia research, writing, editing and researching community. The eZdia professional network includes thousands of professionals around the globe, working in 12 languages and across all time zones. eZdia is designed to connect all of us a little better.   • Shopper Madness. If you work for eZdia, you know a thing or two about eCommerce. Shopper Madness is a short four question multiple choice quiz designed to test your ability to recognize how the average shopper searches when they shop. This month’s search topic is OUTDOOR FURNITURE.Test your skills and see if you can sweep the category.
  • Freelancer Spotlight. When eZdia was first formed, it wasn’t in a fancy office with a lot of staff. It was two men, in a garage working on a ping pong table. They knew from the beginning that they wanted eZdia to be able to make a difference in people’s lives. Today, there are eZdia offices in the US and India, but it’s the network of thousands of freelancers around the world that makes this company work. At eZdia there is never too much or too little work, but always the right amount to earn a decent wage from home while still having the ability to make taking care of a family the first priority.

RONA

RONA is a retail home improvement chain located in Canada. RONA, and its close cousin, Reno Depot, are now both subsidiaries of Lowe’s Canada. eZdia’s first project with Lowe’s Canada dates back to 2018 when they hired us to do one of our first return on content spend (ROCS) proof-of-concept (POC) projects. While the POC produced strong results, RONA was wrestling with a bigger issue and that was to integrate their three eCommerce sites into one core product database. Unlike many industries, however, RONA’s product catalog was filled with products with poor attribute data. RONA couldn’t easily turn to its manufacturing partners for this data so they called on eZdia.

eZdia is delivering writing, editing and attribute research for thousands of products every week and we hope to grow this relationship across the hundreds of thousands of products that need more content.

eZanalytics Product Briefing
eZanalytics comes in two parts. eZ Browse is a feature that allows clients to browse their eCommerce website and see their performance numbers as they browse the site. This comes as a plug in for a Chrome Browser. eZ Query is delivered from the Crew Machine platform and allows clients to easily analyze sales and aggregate sales at the category level. eZ Alert gives users the ability to get alerted to dramatic changes in customer buying behavior. eZanalytics is one of eZdia’s first steps to demonstrate content’s ability to generate results without all the hassle of having to wade through complicated screens on Google Analytics.
