How to Access Feedback on CrewMachine

Regardless of what you do on CrewMachine, feedback plays a vital role. Editors leave feedback to writers, and QA leaves feedback to editors – and sometimes writers. Occasionally a PM may also leave feedback to any role.

We leave feedback for many reasons including:

  • To give kudos on a job well done
  • To give constructive feedback if we notice spelling or grammar errors
  • To give constructive feedback if we notice formatting errors or if the creative brief isn’t being followed
  • To help you improve your craft

Checking feedback should be something you do regularly. Make it (and reviewing the creative brief part of your routine every time you login to work).

To Access  Feedback

  1. Login to home.crewmachine.com and click on the project you’re working on.
  1. Once you are there, click on the ‘Content’ tab. This is what we often refer to as your desk and where you can see items assigned to you that you need to work on and items that you’ve already worked on and submitted.
  2. Once on your desk you’ll see a Filters section. There are many options to choose from but I’d recommend ‘All’. This will pull up every item you’ve worked on for that project.
  1. Once you’ve clicked ‘All’ you’ll see every item you’ve ever worked on. The longer you have worked, the longer this list will be but if it gets too long you can click the column headers to filter or use the custom search field.
  2. To get to the custom search field first click ‘clear all’
  1. Then click the box that says Filters.
  1. Then click custom search
  1. From here you can search for multiple things including:
  • ID
  • Type
  • Status
  • Batch ID
  • External ID (if used)
  • Name
  1. Once you’ve chosen your search parameters click ‘Search’
  2. Once you have the item(s) you want to check feedback on, click into one of them.
  3. Then scroll down (or use the Feedback button near the top) until you get to the feedback section for your role.
  1. You can also review your scores in the same way. (Remember a 10 is a perfect score and something we should all strive for).
  2. If anything doesn’t make sense, is confusing, or you need more assistance please ask in slack, there’s always someone available to help.
