CrewMachine and most writing tools have spell checkers, even phones have a spell check. But, spell check isn’t foolproof and can make mistakes. Plus, getting into the habit of deleting misspelled words and retyping them will help to improve your spelling and learn to spell those words you find you misspell a lot. So, whenever you notice a misspelled word, or your spell checker highlights a word, delete it and type it again, paying particular attention to the spelling.
Having to delete and retype a word, may be a small annoyance, but it takes seconds and you’ll be surprised how quickly your brain will learn the correct spelling.
Of course, we’re not saying never use spell check, or a grammar checker – in fact, we prefer that you use a grammar checker – they are very useful. But, if you know you misspell a word a lot, take a few seconds to delete it and type it again.
