| eZu is your crowd connection, a resource for all CrewMachine freelancers. It will include a monthly newsletter filled with tips, articles, freelancer testimonials and fun. Future plans for eZu include a blog where you will be able to read articles related to content creation, page review, research and more. It will also include CrewMachine tips, work from home tips, and eventually, short quizzes. In this issue, we talk about adverbs, and whether we should use them in eCommerce writing and we’ll show you how to update your CrewMachine profile. We’ll also talk about one of our newest offerings – item optimization and give some hints about how to get your family and friends to take your freelancing, work at home career seriously. | Adverbs – Are you using them correctly? Read this article to find out what they are, and when they should be used. CrewMachine Tip – Feedback is vitally important. It helps you ensure everything you write is within client specifications, and generally improve on your craft. So, it’s important to go back through and check feedback, even on items that aren’t returned for a rework. Check out this handy tip to learn how to access and review feedback on CrewMachine. Useful Tools – No matter how skilled of a researcher, writer or editor you are, using tools like a grammar checker, passive voice checker, thesaurus and dictionary is always a good idea. So, we’ve put together a list of useful tools that will help you improve your skills. This list is a living document and will grow as we find more resources, so bookmark it and check it often. But, you may find yourself facing mental, physical and social challenges. Read this article for some great tips on how to stay healthy while working from home. | Tom O –Working at ezdia for the last five years has been a terrific way to extend my writing/editing career. I get to constantly sharpen my grammar skills while learning a lot about products and technology. I find the product knowledge comes in handy when purchasing items for me or others. Working from home is a pleasure and gives me lots of flexibility when scheduling work. The income really helps out too. Best of all are the terrific people I work with, particularly Sandy and Trish. They keep me busy, listen to my ideas, support my efforts and make me feel appreciated for the work I do. I’m always ready for the next project and I hope they keep coming. Tell us about U!
